It is used to dry the products such as walnuts, chestnuts etc.
The product is transferred to the dryer with the help of an elevator or a conveyor, and passes through the slower ladder in order to prevent breakage of nuts. Nuts are stored in the dryer. The air is warmed up with the help of a warm air generator and then blown upward through the gaps between the product until it reaches to the required humidity. The dried product is discharged out with the help of slide gates located in front of the dryer.
